International Order PolicyUpdated 11 days ago
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING ANY ORDER OUTSIDE OF THE CONTIGUOUS UNITED STATES (INCLUDING APO ADDRESSES).
Trucks R Us operates a global logistics network to support the international truck parts community. Due to the high-mass and technical nature of our products, all orders destined for locations outside the contiguous United States are subject to the following specialized terms.
1. Jurisdictional Scope
This policy applies to all orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories (including Puerto Rico and Guam), and all foreign countries. Orders destined for A.P.O./F.P.O./D.P.O. addresses are subject to specific carrier restrictions outlined in “Carrier Limitations (Military Addresses)”.
2. Shipping Framework: DAP Incoterms
Terms of Sale
All international transactions are conducted under the Delivered At Place (DAP) Incoterm per ICC 2020 standards. Trucks R Us is responsible for the carriage of goods to the customer's delivery address. The risk of loss transfers to the customer once the package arrives at the destination and is made available for unloading.
Duty and Tax Responsibility
Customers are the Importers of Record. All applicable customs duties, import taxes (VAT, GST), brokerage fees, and local handling charges are the sole responsibility of the customer. Trucks R Us does not collect these fees at checkout, nor can we provide estimates for these government-mandated charges.
Carrier Limitations (Military Addresses)
- Standard International: Serviced primarily via DHL International.
- APO/FPO/DPO: These addresses are serviced exclusively by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Due to military postal regulations, these orders are limited to a maximum weight of 70 lbs and a maximum combined length and girth of 108 inches. DHL cannot deliver to military hubs.
3. Financial Protocols and Payment Security
To ensure transaction integrity across borders, Trucks R Us adheres to strict payment types based upon total order values (including shipping):
Up to $1,000.00 USD
- Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Diners Club)
- Wire Transfer
Over $1,000.00 USD
- Wire Transfer Only
4. Fitment Integrity and Market Limitation
US Market Standard
Trucks R Us catalogs are developed for United States Domestic Market (USDM) vehicles. We cannot verify the accuracy of fitment data for vehicles manufactured for international markets (e.g., Central America, South America, Europe, Australia, Middle East, etc.), even if the vehicle shares a common model name.
Customer Due Diligence
International customers are strongly cautioned to verify fitment via the vehicle manufacturer's global technical portal and the product manufacturer's website before purchase.
It is important to note that product information and fitment data presented on product manufacturer’s websites (and Trucks R Us’ website) may not be representative of vehicles intended for sale outside of the United States. Therefore, misinterpretation of fitment data for non-US vehicles is not grounds for a "Defective" or "Not as Described" return claim.
5. Returns and Reverse Logistics
Return Window
Our normal Return & Refund Policy applies to international orders.
Non-final sale items may be returned within 30 days of shipment (determined by the shipping carrier’s pick-up date) if they are in their original, unopened packaging and in new condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Final sale items (including made-to-order items, items with custom finishes, markdown, and discontinued products) cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.
Visit our Returns, Exchanges & Refunds page for more information, or to request a return or exchange. Please note that our return/exchange window is the same for both domestic and international orders, although international orders may be subject to shipping carrier and customs delays outside of our control.
Responsibility for Return Freight
All return shipping costs, insurance, and re-entry duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. We strongly recommend using a carrier with milestone tracking for all return shipments.
Refused Shipments
If a shipment is refused by the customer to avoid local taxes or duties, Trucks R Us will deduct all original shipping costs, return freight, and carrier abandonment fees from any potential refund. If the return costs exceed the value of the goods, the item will be abandoned, and no refund will be issued.
6. Warranty Procedures
As a service to our customers, Trucks R Us facilitates warranty claims with manufacturers. However, manufacturers generally do not cover international freight for warranty/replacement components. The customer is responsible for:
- Shipping the defective item to the manufacturer for inspection.
- All shipping, duty, and tax costs for the arrival of the replacement item.
